Trump uses harsh language to claim Democrats are defrauding Americans

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – President Donald Trump used harsh words Thursday during a rally in Michigan to slam his Democratic critics, claiming they are “defrauding” Americans with “ridiculous bullsh–t.”

Taking a victory lap in a battleground presidential state after special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation found “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia, Trump drew applause from supporters with his salty language.

“The Democrats now have to decide if they will continue to defraud the American public with this ridiculous bulls–t,” Trump said.

Trump’s Michigan event marked his first campaign rally since a summary of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the 2016 election found his campaign did not conspire with Russia to influence the outcome. The president has repeatedly touted that summary in Washington, even as Democrats press for more detail.

Trump wasted no time turning to the summary of the Mueller report released on Sunday, starting the rally off by framing the 22-month probe as “lies and smears and slander.”

“Robert Mueller was a god to the Democrats until he said there was no collusion,” Trump told his supporters. “This fraud is exposed. “
