The numbers are in for Kyler Murray.
The Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner measured in at 5-10 1/8 and 207 pounds on Thursday at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.
In college, Murray was listed as 5-10 and 193 pounds. At 5-10, he would be the shortest quarterback in the NFL.
Murray’s measurements were a point of interest for several teams entering the week, as teams had differing views about what his size would mean for his professional prospects.
“Times have changed,” said Giants coach Pat Shurmur, who last year said he typically prefers passers who are tall. “Quarterbacks come in all shapes and sizes.”
Murray will meet with the media on Friday before quarterbacks take the field for drills and positional work on Saturday. An NFL Network report, however, said Murray does not plan to throw during the event.
