Some of the biggest stars in music failed to hit a fashion high note at the 61st annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
From Jennifer Lopez’s hat to Katy Perry’s overload of ruffles, here are the worst-dressed stars of the night.
JLo rarely makes a fashion faux pas, but her white Ralph & Russo gown was not her finest. From the bejeweled wide-brimmed hat to her crystal-covered collar, Lopez’s look blinded us for all the wrong reasons.
The makeup mogul missed the mark in an oversized Balmain pantsuit. The ensemble featured matching gloves and a bedazzled belt.
The top half of Perry’s Balmain gown was breathtaking. The bottom half, however, was a different story. The disproportionate puffy skirt looked like a futuristic cupcake.
The singer’s red carpet ensemble left us in “The Middle.” Her Galia Lahav gown was overpowered by a lime green flower that clashed with the floral print pattern.
The newly engaged supermodel chose a white Stephane Rolland tuxedo dress. We just wish she would have said Auf Wiedersehen to the large ruffled sleeves.
The “Boo’d Up” singer’s blue gown featured an overwhelming amount of ruffles that took over her look and body, not in a good way.
The country crooner’s red Kimberly Parker gown had seven sequin stars across the bust area that channeled an American flag. Paired with long ruffled sleeves and a ruffled leg slit, this red carpet outfit didn’t showcase her baby bump like it should.
“The Real” co-host will have something to talk about Monday morning. Her white Balmain jumpsuit didn’t do her figure any justice and looks like she could’ve used another tailoring appointment.
Echeverri, a member of the Colombian rock group Aterciopelados, took the Grammy Awards quite literal. The musician dressed up as an actual statuette, earning points for creativity, but not for fashion.
The rapper’s ensemble featured every color of the rainbow, which proved to be too much. From her colorful fur coat to her psychedelic gown and over-the-top makeup, Whack shined on the red carpet for all the wrong reasons.
