‘First Man,’ ‘Broad City, Kelly Clarkson tour top week’s entertainment


Plan your week in entertainment with these highlights and pop-culture milestones:


Tune in: “Broad City,” starring Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, returns for its fifth and final season Thursday at 10 EST/PST on Comedy Central. Ilana starts her own business and learns about her ancestors. Abbi turns 30.


Go to: “The Kid Who Would Be King” opens nationwide on Friday. Alex (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) finds Excaliber, King Arthur’s famous sword, and must create a new Round Table to defeat medieval villain Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). The film also stars Patrick Stewart as Merlin.   


View: “First Man,” starring Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy, is out Tuesday. The biographical film follows astronaut Neil Armstrong and the mission that would lead to him to be the first man to walk on the moon.


Watch: The fourth season of  Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is out on Friday. The series follows the adventures of Kimmy  (Ellie Kemper), a woman who reclaims her life after having lived in a cult for 15 years. 


Listen: Kelly Clarkson kicks off her latest tour in Oakland on Thursday. The Meaning of Life Tour will hit more than 25 cities in North America including Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Boston and Cincinnati.
