Colbert makes a State of the Union plea for Trump

So what are the themes for Tuesday’s State of the Union address? Unity and greatness. And, according to late-night comic Stephen Colbert, President Donald Trump has at least the first theme mastered. But likely not in the way the Trump intends. Take a look at today’s Best of Late Night, above, to get Colbert’s analysis of Trump’s ability to unify the country.

And if Trump does anything tonight, Colbert hopes it’s not something reflective of Super Bowl half-time star Adam Levine’s performance on Sunday. The comic explains in today’s webisode.

Aside from the State of the Union, and the president’s pre-Super Bowl interview, the most talked about Trump news is related to the leader’s schedule. And more specifically the amount of unscheduled time that dominates his day. It alarms Trevor Noah, and he tells us why.
