British Airways turns 100 years old in 2019, and is celebrating with a heartwarming commercial featuring popular British personalities.
The campaign features the likes of Oscar winner Gary Oldman (“Darkest Hour”) and a nominee for this year’s 2019 best actress trophy, Olivia Colman (“The Favourite”), as well as “Venom” and “Rogue One” star Riz Ahmed.
Anthropologist Jane Goodall also makes an appearance, and the late rock star David Bowie appears via a seatback screen.

The ad focuses on cabin crew, engineers and pilots putting the finishing touches on a flight, and the celebrities join regular passengers aboard.
“I fly with British Airways a lot, but this is the first time I’ve been on board with so many incredible British people and I got to drink tea all day,” Olivia Colman said in a press release accompanying the video.
